About:
My process of creating art is very personal. I work from the
wealth of memories that I possess. The feelings and emotions, whether
happy or painful, intertwine with my past experiences. working from
this subject comes very naturally for me because I can more accurately
engage those memories and transfer them into visual form when I am
emotionally involved. we could not, after all, really see anything for
what it really is unless we have some kind of emotional involvement
with it. Emotions can also hinder our depth of sight, but nonetheless
helps us see things in a different way. It is my hope that my audience
can also become emotionally involved and able to relate in some way
with what you see in my work. I aim to create something that has
immense emotional meaning for me. In turn, you can also gain your
own meaning and emotional content from my work. you can see my
point of view of a particular experience or memory and can gain
different feelings and emotions based upon your own personalities and
experiences. My work may be personal for me, but it can become
something different for each of you who views it. i use my past and
present experiences to create something that pulls and moves me in
an emotional way, while is still pleasing to the eye of the beholder.
